We are pleased to report that Washington Project for the Arts' 2010 Art Auction Gala was a smashing success! All funds raised from sales of tickets and artwork allow WPA to continue its mission of supporting area artists and presenting contemporary art. With 50% of the proceeds from artwork sales going directly back to artists, WPA is able to provide direct financial support in addition to a premier exhibition opportunity.
This year's sold out event was especially exciting with over 700 of the region's tops artists, collectors, curators, and arts patrons in attendance. Thank you to everyone involved for making this year's Auction Gala such an amazing event!
