Uncommon Beauty at the Ellipse Arts Center

  • In their second collaboration, The Ellipse Arts Center and The Washington Project for the Arts are proud to present Uncommon Beauty.  This exhibition was curated by Sarah Tanguy, an independent curator and critic, and curator for the ART in Embassies Program, based in Washington, DC and will explore the relative definition of female beauty. Fotoweek ’08 at Hillyer Art Space

  • WPA will run a show in the second gallery Hillyer Art Space while the main gallery features a solo photography show by artist, Phuong Do.  The dual show will run in conjunction with the city-wide Fotoweek events (visit the fotoweek web site for more info)
  • The WPA show will be curated by Amanda Maddox from the Corcoran Gallery of Art, who will choose her selections using the Artfile Online database.
