WPA Exhibitions and Calls for Entry

WPA regularly presents critically-acclaimed solo and group exhibitions throughout the DC metro region. Member artists show their work with WPA at the annual (e)merge Art Fair at no cost. WPA calls for entry are always free for members.

Members receive an account with ArtFile Online as part of their membership. WPA’s popular web-based portfolio registry features hundreds of member artists and is used by curators, art advisors, gallerists and collectors.  Members also have the option to include their work in the WPA 2013-2014 Artist Directory.

Our Professional Practices program offers a diverse series of professional development workshops and lectures, always free to members, created to enrich the artist’s practice while connecting our membership to new networks and bolstering their ability to professionally succeed.

Plug In and Promote Your Work

WPA’s widely read and distributed newsletter, Projector, features calls for entry from arts organizations and galleries outside WPA, news and events, as well as a section dedicated exclusively to highlighting and listing the exhibitions, projects and achievements of our members. The newsletter features a new member each issue with the “Meet a WPA Member” section. WPA member artwork is rotated monthly on our homepage at wpadc.org.
