“Any body Home?” A participatory talk by ethnomusicologist Tomie Hahn
Virtual
The first program for KUVV, a multidisciplinary project curated by Hayley Cutler.
During “Any body Home?” Tomie will explore the sense of home as an embodied flow of time and space. She asked participants to bring a pen and pencil to explore our homes, right where we are.
“Embodied knowledge gestures to a present time. A situatedness, Embeddedness. Caught in a fascinating ephemeral flow of an immediate present soon-becoming-past, the body reaches and extends forward. Lurches. Gravitates. A continuous becoming.” – Tomie Hahn
