Wherewithal Grants
Wherewithal Grants are a funding source for artists in the DC-area. Generously funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts as part of its Regional Regranting Program and managed by WPA, these grants are intended to support a wide range of experimental and multidisciplinary practices, particularly those that emphasize collaboration and discourse.
The application portal is now open. The deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025 at 11:59pm. Details and application can be found at wherewithalgrants.org.
Submit to Collectors’ Night Benefit Auction
Collectors’ Night raises money for WPA’s artist-organized projects, residencies, and publications. Taking place each spring, this annual benefit sale includes more than one hundred artworks by artists living throughout the United States. Proceeds from the sale are split between the artists and WPA.
Submission portal opens annually in the winter.

The archive centers WPA’s programmatic and institutional history, and houses records of hundreds of exhibitions, commissions, and public art projects, and thousands of performances, screenings, and community programs. Assets include installation photos, performance documentation, video transcripts, research notes, pdfs of publications, promotional materials, and institutional documents.
